Spring Exhibtion 2024
After a very busy week, the Spring exhibition closed on Saturday afternoon 13 April. We would like to thank all of our members who gave up their time in planning , setting up and running the exhibition. The exhibitions take a lot of organising and without such a great team effort it would not be possible to put on these events.
I also thought we could take the opportunity of giving you a few of the headline numbers for the 5 days.
Total sales were £737
We sold 21 Paintings by 11 artists.
Attendees were 243 over the 5 days.
But most importantly, during the week, the public voted for their favourite exhibit. Amazingly, nearly every painting received at least 1 vote and was extremely close, which I think reflects the quality of the entries. But in 1st place with 12 votes was Frozen Ditch by Sandra Mcdougall, 2nd place with 11 votes was Redoubt Allottments by Nigel Allsopp and 3rd with 10 votes Pennsyvania Steam by Chris Walsh.
