Jan Munro 2024
At this workshop Jan Munro had us making landscape collages.
We started by doing a rough charcoal drawing, dividing it into light, dark and mid tones. We then had to choose the colours we would be using. This was then followed by having to make our own scrap paper by stencils and painting on plain paper or pages out of magazines, making different textures and tones. These were roughly torn and glued down and then acrylic paint added to give things shape.
Though no one finished their work, I feel we learnt a lot from this and had lots of fun finding our inner child. Great workshop.
